Biography

An honest and compassionate businessman, he has been with the firm since 1988 and has been the firm's Managing Partner since 2019. A graduate of Laurentian University, he started his role as a summer student. His knack for providing solutions that fit his client’s needs led him to a full-time job in 1989 and eventually partnership in 2004.

As the firm's professional standards leader and audit/assurance partner, Robert is driven to succeed. His knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE) and reporting requirements for non-profit organizations has allowed him to serve a diverse clientele, including small and medium-sized businesses, non-profit entities and Caisse Populaires.

Responsiveness and bilingual communication skills have paved the way to helping his clients understand their financial information and improve their bottom lines. Having offered annual compliance services and special services, such as advisory, transaction and tax, he has guided the growth of many local businesses and further helped manage their wealth.

Outside of work, Robert is enthusiastic about developing, preserving and promoting community and culture within the City of Greater Sudbury. He is involved with the Sudbury Jazz Festival and participates in a variety of Francophone and Anglophone community events. Health and fitness also play an important role in Robert’s daily activities. When he is not at work, you can find him at the gym or on the golf course.
